G'day to all, thinking of fishing the Pondage at Eildon on Sundy. Release flows are 2000 megs over next few days, anybody done anything of interest recently?
To find a fish
You do the miles.
Catch the fish
and earn the smiles.

Lord,allow me to catch a fish, so large that even I,when speaking of it afterwards.........May have no need to lie !!!

I haven't heard much of late and very little positive news from the pondage. This thread which you commented on may be an indication of the current situation!

Just gotten your average sized stocked ones over the last month nothing good seen some nice sized ones swimming right next to me while wadding out near the island.

Was up there a couple of weekends ago. Local fisher said has not fished well sinse december. Try the boat ramp in the lake and try a float. I used that tactic and ended up woth 5 nice trout

Thanks blokes, weather looks iffy with strong winds so might tuck up under the bridge for shelter. Take your point on fishing near ramps but winds from north may prevent bubble floating there.
