Has anyone got some tips on fishing Lilydale Lake. give that piece of water a few goes now and no joy.
Know there is fish in there, just need some hints on how to nail a few.

are you fishing up around the rock wall?? deepest part of the lake apparently, compleat angler have guide to help you fish there, i have fished there, but it started bucketing down, soo left pretty quick, supposed to be good yellas in there some big trout!! lots of rubbish fish. are you using powerbait? use it with abit of cheese on it, the smell attracts them supposedly!!
You know when they have a fishing show on TV? They catch the fish and then let it go. They don't want to eat the fish, they just want to make it late for something.

Hit Lilydale lake last night with a bit of power bait. Nice night out, but not even a bite.
Easter break coming up and will try a couple more times if things go right.
