Fishing mermaids inlet tomorr. Advice

Post by scragers » Sat Feb 21, 2015 6:12 pm

Going rock fishing with my brother in the morning, went and scouted it today wondering what is the best rigs to be using as the bottom is fairly rocky. Talked to a few blokes out there and they said floats or pilchard with a small weight they weren't giving to much away which is fair as they don't know me but any other advice would be greatly appreciated cheers

they are using floats... ,most likely for anything that hits bottom will get tangled in weed/kelp beds
so i would be using water bomb ballons..

and also a rope tie off point so i cant go past one foot before the end of the platform.

I think they target bonito off there on ganged phillies under a float.

Might be worth tossing some poppers around if things are quiet too? Ive never fished up there, but I'd love a good session on the poppers and that spot looks pretty promising :P
