G'day fellow fisho's, I'm heading to Coffs harbour this weekend for a weeks holiday with the ball n chain and the rugrat and will most certainly be looking to wet a line or 2 while I'm up there. I have never been there myself and was wondering what to expect up there. I will have access to a boat while I'm there, and I'm keen to find an estuary or 2 to at in otherwise the big blue should hold some good flathead I hope!
Thanks for any advice in advance!
Cheers Alex

Re: Coffs Harbour
Hi mate I used to go up to coffs quite often. Its a great spot . We did a lot of boat fishing out of the main harbour for rat kings, sharks, snapper, groper and flathead.
We stayed at the big 4 caravan park its in a nice spot and there are some good surf spots in the area if thats part of your game as well.
And for the beach and rock fishing we covered the area from emerald beach to Woolgoolga. There are some fantastic rock platforms to fish off up there just make sure you are prepared and aware of the tides wave heights etc.
hope this helps
