Re: North Coast NSW LB Trip
What a trip! killer fish fellas! Those jewies are beasts!
spewing about the damage to the car.. I didn't get anything damaged but its happened to me in Portland.. **** heads starting trouble. The majority of locals in smallish places welcome the tourists because we bring in some cash.. It's a few simple minded dead ***** that ruin it. Probably bored bogans with nothing better to do than make trouble.

Sensational report with a great reward for your efforts.
I have heard of a few areas in NSW where the locals target the "tourists" which I don't get because people who visit the town spend money there...
It will certainly be a trip to remember that's for sure - well done

Good report and fish, well worth the trip, apart from the obvious vandalism, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Unbelievable land based action! Amazing results for just a few days - I didn't know you could catch tuna off the break wall, but it is famous for mulloway. Yamba was the first place my brother and I fished independently as kids, on a family holiday. We caught garfish off the local caravan park pier, but I remember seeing huge flathead heads at the cleaning station that were as big as my own. It's an incredible place. Unfortunately there are as many nuff nuffs in the country as in the city - I wouldn't let that spoil a great trip. One thing I do remember is going to the Yamba cinema one night, and a group of aboriginal teenagers sat behind us. I was about 12 years old and had never met any aboriginal people in my life. After a few minutes, one of the group tapped me on the shoulder, holding out their pizza boxes, and said, "Hey, cuz, do you want some of our pizza - go on, have some with us!". I've never felt more welcome in an unfamiliar place as that night.

Thanks guys, Yeah was an awesome fishing trip. Maybe this is the beginning of a new addiction
Yeah I don't get why they dislike Victorians so much.
Tourists are the main money makers there!

Great trip, sorry about the local vandals though. Perhaps they couldn't handle being given such a good lesson on how to catch their fish.
