It's worth a fish if your there.

I’m not a huge freshwater fan either but sounds like it’s worth checking out one day :)

It's worth a fish if your there.
I'm here for a snowboarding expedition and unfortunately didnt pack any of my fishing gear, will definitely keep it in mind for next time though.

Got to do good research and take a guide with you.

That's where a stop at the local shops, a lure or two bought at each and a wealth of info received comes in handy. Everyone raves about alpine angler in Cooma, pretty sure there's a few others up there at places like Adaminaby to stop at too. Support the shops with even a small purchase and you'll find a little more info than standard coming your way generally

There is a tackle shop at the lake near the caravan park
...like cubby says....buy a lure and get some local secret spots and knowledge

Steve Williamson is the blokes name....shop is expensive but cheap with the advice you get.

That's it. Don't have to drop hundreds when going to a new area. Smallest bit of support goes a long way
