Hmmmmmm at this rate it will be 100 trips to get to the 300 mark! Am sure things will improve though. Must have been great to have a Brown on the line after a 3 month break Adrian.

That it was Paul, really great to get back in the rivers.. they are slowly dropping and hopefully by Thursday I'll be able to give the Meander River a fish with a bit of luck.. :) It's going to have to drop quite a lot though see today's graph. My aim is to crack 500 for the season for starters and if I can get that with around 5 weeks of the season left then I'll have a go at breaking the 600 mark again.. of course that's if the body can hold on that long.. :-D :-D

cheers

The river level has to be below the red line to be safe enough for wading..

Normally liked to drown a worm at this time of year BM, but have tried at all so far with bait fishing at all.. Used to love floating grasshoppers on a river during Feb & March too... (check the pic's)
Won this competition back in 2009 grasshopper fishing... also caught the most fish on that day as well..
Only had 1-1/2 hours to fish an allocated stretch of the Leven River, caught three solid browns.. I had a good day on the water that year.
cheers
