There was a little adjustment, being an open river I had to put a little more power in the cast when using the1.5 gram spinner, not quite so bad with the hard body lures.. Much harder when the wind picked up too.. I normally use the 6' or 6'6'' Presso rods here.. It still felt nice and comfortable though which is good.
