Help needed

Post by Kosta7 » Wed Jan 03, 2018 12:04 pm

Hi guys,

I will be in Tasmania for 2 weeks in early February. This is a fishing/camping trip and have been researching for a few months now for best spots. I have never done any fresh water fishing so I will only concentrate on fishing estuaries, rock platforms, jetties and surf beaches.

I am not asking for all the secret locations but some spots that are safe to fish and have a high chance of producing something. My plan is to camp as close as possible to my fishing location and feed myself for the 2 weeks.

I have gone through lots of books, websites and forums and will focus on the East coast as 2 weeks are not enough to explore the whole island. Some of the areas I ll be visiting: Kettering, Bruny island, St Helen’s, Bicheno and Port Arthur.

Any advice and help will be very welcome

Cheers
Kosta
