Chasing wild trout in tannin waters.. (video)

Post by meppstas » Fri Oct 12, 2018 10:55 am

Here's a six minute video I made up using my Canon camera that I use when taking photos while chasing trout in the rivers.. I thought I would try outthe video side of it.. Only problem is I can't take the action shots while casting & catching trout, but it gives one a bit of an idea of what chasing wild brown trout is like in small tannin waters.. I put it on YouTube..

Adrian you can invest in a go-pro or similar camera and clip it to your chest for the action shots, then later edit the video and include any extra footage.

Thanks Hornet, I have one in the cupboard that was given to me some time ago but have yet to set it up, came with a chest strap as well.. I used to have a couple of small helmet video cameras several years ago that had a remote control with them which made it much easier, gave them to the grand kids for their BMX racing.. The one I have doesn't have a remote and is the real reason I haven't bothered to use it..may still get it out and give it a go..

cheers
