Great job Adrian

As I was reading and got to your three way choice conundrum, I did feel your pain not only of the difficulty up to that point but also a choice is hard to reverse if the chosen River works out to not want to give up it's trout.

But glad you got your 500 trout , , , , you can say a half tonne , , , , of trout. Well done.

Just a question Adrian, if I may. How does the Club know your tally? Is it divulged at the end of the season or is it logged in on every trip?

Cheers, Bill
Thanks guys...

Bill, we have trout catch forms (see attached photo)
IMG_9840 (Medium).JPG
Trout catch form page 2 of 4 for 2018/19 season
to fill out after each fishing trip eg: Date of trip, location, number of trout caught, trout type, single fish weight,
in which I fill out each & every time I get home from a fishing trip to a river, plus what you've just read on this full report is what I write up after every fishing trip. Each month when I go to a club meeting I print out 15 full monthly reports called " The Trout Stalker Reports " each report has around 25 pages to it depending how many trips I go on for the month. Some of the reports I put on the site are short abbreviated ones as some people prefer a short report on a site but still enjoy the photos that go with it.. Also at the end of the season I do a full season report on each river I've fished, two of them go to the Inland Fisheries Service (IFS) here in Tasmania as well as it gives them an insight to how the rivers I fish have fared during the trout season.
cheers
Adrian

Amazing effort Adrian, both in the Tasmanian Rivers and with all you do in relation to your Trout Stalking.

When are the decisions made and the presentations of your, I mean, of the Ulverstone Angling Club Trophy. I am hoping you make 13 a lucky number.

Last years 12th in a row Ulverstone Angling Club Champion and Trophy
Twelve in a row.. 2006-2018.JPG

But I have to say Adrian, knowing what you go through physically to get to the Rivers, and with your level of dedication to your Angling and with the respect that you have of the trout & countryside, you are a Champion every year, in all our eyes. Mother nature thinks so too. That's why she surrenders her Blackberries, Mushrooms, has her little creatures visit you to say "hi" and really turn on all her glory for your adventures. And reward you with some awesome trout.
