I went with norsman over Christmas. Awsome boat very clean laid back guys we were a small group though was around $250pp for the day but the good was good the bar tab at the end not so good. Fishing was fairly average they kept on the move and tried. That's fishing I guess.

I took the missus with me on a 4 hour charter with daintree dave. http://www.daintreefishing.com.au/ He was awesome. it was too rough to go offshore so we stayed in the daintree river. Between me and the missus we caught 16 fish including a 6.5kg permit, a 50cm flathead some black bream, 3 mudcrabs and few other species that i cant remember right right now but it was areal mixed bag!!! The daintree hotel will cook your catch as fich and chips for $12 Daves wife works there, and it was delicious!!! also the rerstaurant Seabean in port douglas will cook up your catch if you go see them before hand and let them know you are coming!!

Great permit and an even better trip although the bream were likely to be pikey bream not blacks.

I recent went out with Strike Zone Sportfishing out of Port Douglas. We caught some good barra and several other species. Fished the Dickson inlet and Mowbray rivers. Awesome day!
