Havin a blast in the Whitsundays...

With 5-10knot winds forecasted for the entire length of the weekend, the opportunity to take my little tinnie up to the Whitsundays and fish around some of the beautiful islands was just way too good to pass up.

I have this cracker little spot up there which just fires all day long. It is not a spot where you catch bulk amounts of larger fish that are worthy of being brought home for dinner, but it is a spot to break out the bream gear and catch some hard fighting little reef fish on ultra light gear and plastics and this was the objective of this Fishin Mission.

Yeh everything at this location had teeth. You can even see the scars on my jig-head!
Purple5ive - Yeh went conventional jigheads this time. Only lost 2 jigheads to the reef too which was fairly surprising. A lot of soft corals there so it wasn't too harsh
