Yeah mate I did, went on a reef fishing one. Ended up getting terribly seasick and sleep on the boat the entire time

Ah what a shame... Not to worry mate, looks like you had a bit of fun with the Estuary Cod earlier in the week on a more stable surface

Aah that sucks, that happened to me on my first Noosa offshore charter as well and I did the same thing as you...biggar wrote:Yeah mate I did, went on a reef fishing one. Ended up getting terribly seasick and sleep on the boat the entire time
But you get used to it, so these days I just keep fishing and berley up :icon_lolz:
You just have to put up with it for an hour or two, and once everythings out of your stomach its not so bad.
And when you hook up to a fish the seasickness goes away.

I always take a couple of travel sickness tablets before heading out, 10/10 recommend them absolutely awesome!!!!!!!
Especially the ginger ones

The fishing was good; it was the catching that was bad

I took 2 ginger ones before I went out. I took another one went i started to feel a little ill, I then threw up the tablet 2 mins later! The taste was horrific! Felt like my throat was getting burnt!

Never take too many... they can make you sleepy as hell and ruin the trip.

Re: Noosa fishing
Seasick tablets should be taken 4 hours before you go out, that's when they take effect
