pine river bream 31/12

hi all dad and I went fishing in the pine river for bream got up bright and early to get down there at 4:30 and test out our new rods. it wasn't until we got there that we realised didn't have a clue as to what we were doing :doh1: we ended spending the first few hours flicking lures around pylons but couldn't get them to the bottom as there was a strong current. so we decided to wait a bit for the current to back off and during this time a guy who was bait fishing left and gave us the rest of his bait little did we know but this would be our saviour as we ended up catching 8 bream between us :super: it turned what could have been a disater into one of the better fishing trips i've been on.

Glad it worked out for you.
I got a snapper off a piece of squid some bloke had left in the wrapper ( Actually I saw a seagull attacking a plastic bag about 20 metres away from me so I went to see what it was - 2 small pieces of squid in bait packet) :dinner:

I've come to realise it's not always the freshest bait that catches em.

I haven't eaten Bream yet, what do they taste like?

no idea what they taste like. we put them back because we flew back to melbourne today but im pretty sure they taste good.
