Gold Coast - Salt water creeks?

Post by Brett » Thu Jan 02, 2014 3:00 pm

Ok, for you non - Victorians. What am I likely to catch in small salt water creeks around the gold coast?

Thinking of some small vibes, SP's and maybe some poppers.

Looking at taking the caldia, on maybe a 6ft catana or 7ft sonic pro/catana.

Might also take the kids rods and try get a bream on bait, as there is a small creek that runs through the park we are staying at.

TIA, Brett.

Hey Brett , I'm up here from Vic atm, had a few flicks around with some soft plastics for nothing. So back to basics..... Tiny hooks with some good old bread has produced plenty of bream, all undersized but great fun on light gear to keep the kids happy. Have a good holiday , cheers Adsy .

Thanks Adsy, I was hoping for something like that for the kids, I'll toss lures, just to pass the time.
