Did a search here but couldn't find anything.
Just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with any charters up in Cairns. I'm heading up there early February for a week and I'd really love to get out there one day for a bit of fun.
I'd want my girlfriend to go fishing for her first time, so preferably nothing too expensive (just in case she hates it)
I'm really looking forward to the whole trip in general, but to get out and catch something other than the usual in PPB species would be pretty damn awesome!

Not too expensive = they take you too the same old spot that everyone fishes, so a lot of crap fish. not the case with all charters but that has generally been my experience. unfortunately I havent been on a charter in cairns so I can't recommend one but as I said generally the smaller (4-6 people as apposed to 10-16), more expensive charters produce much better fish.
