G'day All

Post by Kando » Sat Sep 20, 2014 4:42 pm

G'day mates,

I'm getting back into fishing, been out of it for more years than I care to recall but I still have all my gear...Plus a few new pieces ;) Now if only I can remember how to tie a knot and set a rig :( I'll be fishing Corio Bay and for Trout/Salmon I'll fish the lakes in the western districts, like Modewarre, if there's any water and fish in it, Bullen Marri and Purrumbete. Like I said, it's years since I wet a line, can anyone give me the best place to launch a boat into Bullen Marri and Purrumbete... And :doh1: the best route from the highway in to those lakes.
Thanking you in advance for your pointers.

Bill

Thanks for the welcome mates. Due to commitments at home I guess I'll be fishing Corio Bay, salt water, most of the time but I do enjoy a good feed of Trout so I'll also, time permitting, be fishing the Western District Lakes. Well that's the plan but we all know about the best laid plans :) So we'll see how things workout.
Thanks again mates,

Bill
