Get yourself a copy of the Victorian Inland Waters fishing guide from the AFN store that will give you a good idea.

If you can find a school of them at lake Eppalock there'll be more than enough to keep you busy but they'll mostly be small. Eildon and Lake Hume can also produce a few big ones but most people target other species at those lakes (myself included), so take my advice with a pinch of salt.

Get to lauriston res, and walk the banks, you'll come across them. If you can get into tha back section it will give you more area to fish.
Also try crusoe res.

Not sure about this guy, claims to be 14yo but fishes all over Victoria, only 6 posts and each one asking for good fishing spots, me think's you not 14yo, anyway, half the fun is trial and error, so give your local spots a try
