Warrandyte tonight 27/02

Post by ChrisD » Sat Feb 27, 2016 8:13 pm

Hit the Yarra through Warrandyte tonight - heap of bites - finished up with one little Mac Perch and a turtle.
Suspect the bites were mainly coming from little bait stealing Mac's but couldn't hook them up.
Thinking it is time to find some new water on the Yarra to see what else i can get on to.

I have been thinking it is time to head towards Warburton and try for some trout - never targeted wild trout, only caught them in Don Lake Healesville when it gets stocked.

I fished a couple of spots at Warburton Friday but no results, nice water though,

cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them
