Only a single bite on the Yarra

Post by ThomoT » Sat May 27, 2017 1:49 pm

I took a few hours to sit by the Yarra this morning and only got one bite on worms. :(

Lucky for me it was a good one! My biggest carp to date.

That carp is better than a donut mate, well done, cheers davo
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Fishmongers in the markets often have them. Wonder if they are recreationally caught, or commercially????

I could have cashed it in? I ended up giving it to another fisherman who was going to cook it up.

A recreational fisherman can't sell his catch.

Carp stink and am told they taste muddy.
