Small Stream Reconnaissance oct 6 2018

Post by sirsquidalot » Sun Oct 07, 2018 7:57 am

Got a chance to head over the spur and check out some small mountain streams i'd been planning on fishing. The weather was perfect. Didn't get any trout in the net but got a few hits on the dry flies but couldn't convert. Beautiful part of the world up there, hurts my heart how lovely it is. No better place to get skunked.

Great streams those and on a warm day fishing a shaded waterway in the forest is very refreshing, cheers davo.
It's an exhilarating feeling catching a fish
But it's an even better feeling releasing them

Looks like a beautiful place to fish. Such nice scenery.
Better luck next time with the fish.
