A couple of years back I inadvertently pulled one of these out of the Yarra around Woori Yallock.

Sorry for the hijack but has anyone seen or caught cod as far up as Woori?

Nice report Chris - Yarra access is always an issue, steep banks, muddy approaches, blackberries and scrub, bloody big tiger snakes.... or farm land blocking access.
But when you work into some of those off the track spots the rewards are worth it.
Furthest up I have heard of cod being seen was around Wonga Park.....but Cod catchers in the Yarra tend to keep their catches and locations fairly secret so there is every chance they are further upstream.
