This evening's session started out great, bites started coming within the first five minutes.
15 mins in and I landed a 25cm River Blackfish.... Didn't get a picture, slippery sucker jumped out of my hands while I was fiddling with the phone.
The bites kept coming for about 40 mins and then it went dead
Suspect a lot of little Redfin.
But while they were biting it kept things interesting.
Scrub worms for bait.
River still running high, but clear

Hey mate, you should try and get some Night Crawler worms, much better than scrubbies and they stay alive in the water a lot longer. If there's small fish around and you are using scrubbies they will just bite at the tail and you won't catch them.ChrisD wrote: ↑Sat Feb 08, 2020 7:21 pmThis evening's session started out great, bites started coming within the first five minutes.
