Has anyone been to hazel wood pondage and fished from a boat. I've got a permit for the end of December and want to know where to go from the ramp..that pondage is a big place and any advice will be appreciated. Also what lures were successful.

Make sure you have a good water thermometer in the boat and cruise around till you find the warmest spot, that's where you thrash the water to foam with lures.
that was my plan.....but it ended up with only 4 batra for 13 hrs fishing

You need a bir more than that

We have lost so many jobs...
yeah, sh*t's pretty ******. There was a study the other day that found that there were 6 job seekers for every entry level job so good luck to the people getting the arse from the power station.
What are you talking about? Those lovely greens supporters were singing praises for all those low emissions jobs that are available in their thousands whilst fighting back tears of rejoice....

those same spastics along with tard from midnight oil all stayed quiet about the otways getting logged to export for china a few years back.

but this will increase the cost of power, where i work there is speculation if they will stay open in a couple of years

There is an underground mine cooling system that will continue to pump into the Pondage for at least the next 5 years.

Where that is enough to keep it warm enough or not is another question, but we shall see, if nothing else, the Barra will probably all converge on where that water comes in.

people keep talking about this but I haven't seen any kind of official mention of it. It'd certainly be good news if true

You would think that a plan would be allready in place

Talking abt it after the plant shuts is pretty ordinary
