Does.he launch it like a.boat or just carry the yak over?
No the trailer just gets me to the launch - I set up and wheel on a kayak trolley or carry the yak to the water be that a ramp or beach
theres no need for a gal trailer that way
I've been trailering my kayaks for some years now and find it much more convenient than car topping

And the other thing once you start getting over 5 meters long on the kayak it's hard to find cars long enough to car top legally

as I fish off a 5.25 meter ski now and intend on building a 5.75 meter fishing ski ( lighter than commercial glass skis ) also narrower more suited to my size and weight
the trailer becomes the only real option

most place I fish the free ramps don't matter but the idea of free parking with the trailer brings in a lot of options worth looking at
My kayak PBs
Gummy shark 128 Cm - Elephant fish 85 Cm - Snapper 91 Cm - KG Whiting 49 Cm - Flathead 55 Cm - Garfish 47 Cm - Silver Trevally 40 Cm - Long Tail Tuna 86 Cm - snook 64 Cm - Couta 71 Cm - Sth Calamari 44 Cm hood - Cobia 117 cm
