TROUT CONFERENCE COMES TO MANSFIELD

Freshwater fishers will be able to learn more about Victoria’s wild trout fisheries at the free one-day Talk Wild Trout conference in Mansfield in November thanks to the Andrews Labor Government.
Minister for Fishing and Boating Jaala Pulford said the popular annual conference is returning to Mansfield this year for its fifth birthday, bringing together fishers and scientists to share findings from research conducted on riverine trout populations.
Hilary Hutcheson, a Montana trout guide, fly shop owner, journalist and film maker will give the keynote address about her family’s passion for wild trout fishing and how North America is recognising all the benefits of spending time in the great outdoors.
The conference will also include sessions on spawning success in twelve wild trout rivers, health card reports on our best streams, incubator stocking trials in three rivers, and angler efforts to improve habitat, both in-stream and along river banks.
A panel discussion will accompany sessions with questions from the audience.
The trout conference is funded by fishing license fees and the Labor Government’s $35 million Target One Million plan to get more people fishing, more often.
The conference will be held at the Mansfield Performing Arts Centre on November 23 between 9.30am and 4pm. For more information visit www.vfa.vic.gov.au/talktrout.
Quotes attributable to Minister for Fishing and Boating Jaala Pulford “Whether you want to know about Montana’s world-class trout fisheries or the value of wild trout – this is the perfect place to get to know more about trout fishing.” “The Mansfield Talk Wild Trout conference is part of our plan to get more people fishing, more often – so that everyone can enjoy the great outdoors.” Quote attributable to Member for Northern Victoria Jaclyn Symes “We want more people to get outside and on the water – this trout conference will help encourage more people to do just that.”

Sounds like a great conference :tu:

I know that neighbourhood, sounds like something Miffy & Sparkles might go too, as long as they don't expect a free "taste".
