They had to put something out. The amount of apparent Facebook scientists calling for reduced bag limits purely because SA is ****** is insane.....

We are very "asterisked" here that's for sure.

Went last night for a last "hoorah" (report to come) and the general consensus is that it is a very convoluted and complex issue, and it won't be solved by the ban. It would just replenish stocks for the same issues to be out there when the ban is lifted.

But one thing we are all waiting for are very tight restrictions and the possibility of a "tag" system where you have to get tags to put on any Snapper landed to be able to keep them.

If Snapper do migrate between SA and Victoria, and if I was a Snapper I'd stay in Victoria. The only thing a Snapper in Victoria has to worry about is trying to avoid Lightningx and Sam Triplett :o_0:

Cheers, Buggsie

Interesting little video clip Jase. Going by the info it looks like fisheries management have got it correct with improving stocks most years.
Don't think theres any changes needed re size or catch limitsl

Don't worry about PETA or any other radical groups rec fishing is a cash cow for our governments with licensing and GST on equipment etc not to mention the benefits for local economies with accomodation etc. Hope you can get amongst it soon Jason.
