If you cook it too much it dries out and then falls apart

Totally agree with gars and Leather jackets being right up their in taste. The last ljs my missus cooked up were absolutely delicious and gars are probably my favourite :thumbsup:

Never targeted Gars but hear they taste good. LJ’s are great & I’d sooner eat a big LJ over a Red Bay Carp anyday:-)
Bream are really good eating. I’ve caught in the past but never ate them, but I was at Tyers in Jan this year & got some nice 40cm Bream & Boy they were delicious.

I don't know how you blokes prepare your Blue throat wrasse but whenever I've cooked it, it has tasted amazing. Nice chunky white flesh.

I pour olive oil over them, Salt and pepper and a sprinkle of dill. I don't cook it for long either. Just quickly in a pan with a tiny bit of oil.

P.S this is Blue throat wrasse which is the male. Not the female wrasse.
