Day 2 launched at rhyll at 730 10k winds headed to the eastern entrance looks good headed down to where the wind farms are. The plan take my mate and his wife they have never been out the entrance, he has a haines 540 which he leaves at cowes but is a bit unsure of any offshore work.
We just drifted something easy for there first time a bit of touring round cape woolami. We ended up with 44 sand flathead the best 54cm, 8 sand whiting (kept for bait) plenty of couta mostly caught mid water on the retrieve. 2 very large and ugly drought board sharks. My mates wife hooked something played it for 25 mins only to loose it before we got a glimpse.I dont know about you but I dont care if I loose it but I want to know what it was.
All in all a great day on the water off at 3 have to drive back to melbourne work tomorrow.

Are you sure they weren't king George whiting?
Angling is the name given to fishing by people that can't fish
