The noise they make is unbelievable...I remember hearing an Atlantic Croaker for the first time and thinking "that's cool". But when I heard a drum for the first time I almost crapped my pants!

Yeah! It's really eerie especially if it is very calm and quiet. Makes your skin crawl. The long-wave sound travels far.
