Hawaii Fishing

Hi guys off to hawaii for 8 days thinking of land based fishing.......any infos about the area most likely in Honolulu, local regulations applies, where to or what to catch.....Thanks fellas. :water: :water:

Take a few squid jigs and hard bodied lures.
Around Waikiki you can fish the piers. When I was there a few years ago I caught a few small GT's, Trumpetfish and many small Tiger Squid.
Great fun and the locals had never seen a squid jig before let alone someone catch one!

These fish were all caught near the Kakaako Waterfront Park at the entrance to the channel:

And make sure you to a day trip to Hanauma Bay for a swin/snorkel!

The drop at the edge of Kilauea is a hot fishing spot.
