From vrfish e-news
Representatives from VRFish, will be at the 2015 Yamaha Cod Classic, talking to fishers about their fish handling techniques fishers and their awareness of the recently introduced regulations. VRFish will also survey fishers about their ideas to improve Murray cod fishing for the foreseeable future.

Whilst i applaud the idea of getting the info on reg change's & fish handling tech out there,i just find it a bit strange to go to a comp on the murray, a totally nsw licensed & regulated event,to do a survey.

Hope they remember to slip, slop, slap & slide, gonna be hot there this weekend.

PS As I understand it,there have been moves in the past to develop a national body where the whole country works together for the betterment of fishing people. Given state rivalries over our entire history, this maybe a long way off.
However, the fact that VRFish are going up to NSW territory maybe one of the tiny steps which need to be taken.
Praps VRFish would car to elaborate .
