Thx for your insight Dez, your right it's all about being in the right place at the right time, unfortunately right place right time is very difficult to work out ! so then you put in the hours and hope your lucky day happens.. :thumbsup:

Catching a kingie land based is a real challenge! It's hard enough from a boat in vic.

I agree, I have 3 spots that I know they frequent and Im just trying to work out the times and conditions to get at them. Catching one fish is/was a very happy fluke, catching another is the test. :)

Aah the mighty kingfish..targeting and catching them landbased is a very tough task in Vic. I've caught 2, one a fluke and the other was behind it so another fluke lol
Congrats on the capture not a bad size too!
