New Fishing Victoria Yellowtail Kingfish sub-forum!

Post by fishingvic » Thu Feb 04, 2016 8:08 pm

Hi guys and gals,

due to popular demand, a recent highly successful Victorian landbased fishing trip by DougieK, CarlG and adtrac, and a prompt from Mustang38 , we now have a new Yellowtail Kingfish sub-forum! :super:

viewforum.php?f=212

The mods and I will start moving some of the Kingfish topics to this sub-forum.

If there are any that we have missed, please let us know here.

Cool.
We'll be working pretty hard over the next two months to try and find somewhere a bit more local to target them landbased.
Any success or otherwise, we'll put up here of course..

For whats its worth I caught a little king fish off werrible yesterday while fishing for whiting.

I had enough whiting and was just packing up and a little kingy smashed my lure I was using.

It was only abt 25 cm and I carefully released it.

A very funny place to catch it though

I guess it's not that far from Altona where they do get sighted from time to time.
