Is it possible to catch a Yellowtail Kingfish from the Yarra river?

Bloody Spectacular, gota be in it to win it. At the depth in the area, why not i guess.. Thanks for sharing, good on you for actually noticing and targeting accordingly. Kingfish are definitely on my dream to do list!

Fantastic effort! Have you caught gummy sharks in the area as well? I once caught a 7 gill in that area.

No, I haven't caught any Gummies from the Yarra, but several locals who fish the area regularly & that I know personally, tell me they can & have been caught during the Night.

That is awesome mate.
Years ago I was fishing on the small pontoon under the Westgate for mullet and also landed a small kingie there. Mine was much smaller than that one :P

Well done mate. Thats an awsome capture. Kingfish is on my bucket list .

Im.guessing these might have been the same fish spotted at docklands as well
