The plan is too chase some kingfish on Friday, so last night I chased some bait. Catching my bag of squid.
Hopefully those 10 squid will be turned into 10 kingfish.

I’d rather go in the past, at least that way I know what days I will catch something

Well the weather gods were really smiling what an absolutely lovely day.
The fishing gods must have had an arguement with the weather gods, because all we caught was one undersized kingie.
We tried squid which ended up being stolen without hook ups.
We tried jigs large and small
We tried towing lures around and around and around, first going clockwise, then going anti clockwise.

On the way back we got past by a yellowfin, not a fish but a boat and it seemed to ride a bit better than my boat.

How did you rig your squid?

Two hook rig, with the top hook through the tip of the hood and the other in the head of the squid between the eyes.
