How to - Garfish/Float Rig Benosfishing

Post by Beno » Mon Aug 18, 2014 2:38 pm

Hey guys

Decided to redo the old how to set-up a garfish rig to make it easier on the eyes for new fisherman to the hobby.

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0k0IIx0 ... MdI9qjeoOA" onclick="window.open(this.href);return false;

Enjoy! Feedback Welcomed if you have any other gar/float questions, the link in the end also goes to my other garfish video where I answer a lot more garfish questions! :thumbsup:

Cheers Beno

It could possibly be because the gars are feeding lower down in the water column. They have been very hard to catch this year.... previous years at this time I would be bagging out. :down:

Can anyone confirm if the sabiki rigs work on gars? I struggle with gar rigs and quite sadly have never caught a gar in my life!

Tried it yesterday but caught 3 mackerels instead. Am burleying wheatbix with tuna oil and scrap pilchards.
