where do you get good blood bait at this hour only got squid in the freezer for bait would like salmon and yakka's also would not like to pay an arm and leg for it.

in the northern suburbs looking to fish port melbourne look's a good night for a gummy. i only got squid that i caught in the freezer i would only buy bait from the market so not sure if you can get salmon and yakkas at a servo i dont think a pillie will do the job.

theres a BP with a BCF on whitehall street in footscray. Probably be your best bet

cheers guys but will track some abit down tomoroo and go then i hate frozen stuff im going fillet so i wont be happy and thats bad fishing can not do it to myslef i will lose my mind

Was going to suggest the BP/BCF too, but for fresh, Sunday arvo at Vic Market would have good discounts, also little saigon market in footscray, open 7 days a week, good if you need unfrozen bait on a Monday when most markets are closed.
