Cured worms?

Saw these today @ tackle world. Bright red. Gave them a go and now I'm cured. Useless land based. Turn to mush, no way they stay on the hook. Worst $10 I ever spent. Anyone have any experience with these?

I had the exact same experience, I was told your threading them on the hook rather than wrapping is supposed to help it stay on. Meh.. I'd rather use other baits.
