The price on Pipies is way 2 hi
Get a bag of Mussles open them all up lay them on paper then salt them heaps.
Place in freezer ,they stay firm but wont freeze better than Pipies

To be honest though pipi is the wrong bait to use if your trying to cast a long distance as it will just tear off.

Yea that’s true. I know a landbased spot where you have to cast a bit of a distance and many times can see the pippies fly off but after using the squid seems to not happen as often.

The KL's need to have the barb kept clear of bait or the fish may not hook up, remember not to strike if you get a bite with these, the Mustad long baitholder's a good choice.

Could/Would you put "sea salt" in the bag ??? (the salt you need to grind)
