Garfish

Post by Skill » Sat Jan 19, 2013 12:42 pm

Does anyone know where I can catch some Garfish around the bay, land based, at the moment?
I use to see them at Portarlington 2 years ago but I went down there 5 times in last 2 weeks and nothing, and its an 90 mins drive to get there so its getting frustrating as i just want to catch a fish.
Advice will be much appreciated.

there are gars but you really gotta work for them this season.
I've been getting them from mordi thru to mornington but burley is a must and very very light leader line.
