Just a quick doughnut report :-(

So got to lagoon pier at 9 last night with me mate, not a soul in sight light on the pier were out aswell think most of the area was out of power, we set out the rods out and also ballooned a bigger bait with a wire trace bit noting ended up taking it. High tide was at 11:30 Fished till 12 and decided to go since not even 1 bite, another bloke came and set up for the tide change/ run on, all was good better than staying home doing nothing

Thanks

Gaby

nope just crazy to be that close to the water in those conditions, no fish is worth risking your life over. All it takes is one freak wave and it is all over. Even getting along the Yarra while it is swollen is a risk, one slip and trying to get back out is not going to be easy.
The fish will be there later, and I am sure our families would prefer we were at home, nice and safe.
