not wrong have not seen a high tide in port Melbourne like last night and could not keep a bait on the hook kerford road pier at the end where you go down the stair to the lower bit was 2 feet under water and meter high waves

Just had a look at Mornington. Would recommend absolutely not fishing the Mt Martha area. Even being the bay it's too dangerous.

For those thinking off going out there ... Not worth it ... your life is more important than a fish. Fish will be there this weekend .. and the weekend after.
