Looking at the evil eye on that cuttlefish I think you definitely did the right thing releasing it.

Pull out the head and entrails, then twist the cuttlebone, this splits the skin away. Look on the sydney fishmarket site, they do a good demo. I never release them lol..

go out for a fish, some one decided to go last minute.

he got a few firsts, fist fish on soft plastic, new pb, as well as various others, pulled a 65cm snook on a strike tiger 4 inch curl tail in vodkka and orange colour, ended up with 3 or 4 snook, a squid, a few flattys a few pinkys and this cuttlefish!

Yes, i caught it on a gillies baitfish, im gonna go try catch a few cuttlefish at gunnamatta soon, better than those salmon carl gets.

Nice cuttle! I got 2 at the first stick at olivers hill yesterday afternoon. Never seen so many around that neck of the woods! Ive heard that they're much easier to clean(pull the skin off) once they've been frozen...
When I got time,
I wet a line cos Im a junkie,
been fishin since a kid,
I like it cos it numbs me..
