Squid in Melbourne

Post by alaskanaturally » Thu Feb 26, 2015 6:06 am

Hey Guys, We'll be in Melbourne for a few days and then drive the Ocean Road. Any ideas where we may get into a few squid? Any help would be appreciated. Thanks.

If you want big ones places like sorrento and portsea are the go
How ever if you were just after a feed or just a few to catch Mt Martha is about as good as it gets :)

Be warned the squid fishing here pales in comparison to that of tassie, although there are still good squid to be had.
the suggestions above are well worth looking into, I would add blairgowrie to that list.
