How many so far, 10? Maybe we can do this by inches so we can have at least 1000 locations in St Kilda Pier alone.
Seriously, you need to post what you already know so we can suggest some places you are missing.

any good land based fishing spots in Melbourne
You can park at The Strand in Newport for easy access to all of the fishing spots in the area. To the left of the strand is a concreted path area in front of the power station you can fish from, or follow the waters edge all the way to the right of the strand where you can fish from the rocks, including a small floating pier in the middle. From the rocks if you walk inland over a small hill you'll find where the warm water gets pumped out. Be extremely careful there if the pump is on... Apparently idiots have fallen in and been killed. You can fish this water all the way up to the boat launching ramp. It's very rocky in front of the pump though so you'll likely snag on every cast if using a sinker rig.hunghang1123 wrote:@Miker:

Re: any good land based fishing spots in Melbourne
google maps can be good to find new spots.
just check the location and search it up.
i have found some great places that are completely isolated which is great.
just search the forums many people give up there locations.
Altona pier is getting some great results.
Geelong area has always been performing great.
just take some time and read as you will do with fishing and you will learn more than enough.
