As few of these have been caught recently and I saw this caught the other night.

Not my fish and I will not disclose the location so do not ask.

theres been some nice size mulloway caught in western port last weekend one went 55kg

Yes there have been and that was a rippa fish.

55kg? That's 20kg heavier than the biggest Vic fish I've seen. Any pics or details?

full moon over the weekend i think. bigger tides as a result. I've read that they like big tides

Saw that alleged 55kg on facey...no way. If that fish is 55kg, the fish Ads got will be near on 35..

Thanks mate, I just read the post and saw the pic. Apparently 1.65m long. No way is it a 55kg fish. Maybe 55lb, but no way 55kg. Caught on a mackeral fillet near Ram Island, WP.
