Thanks mate! Gummies are always easy, especially this time of year. But I'll need a lot more than luck to get a Mullo bite.

How did you guys go?
I just got home now. Went with the missus. Couldn’t find any schools of sambos after driving around for quite some time so decided to give that a miss and head for some pinkies.

Got off to a good start but then Sammy the seal decided to join he party and took 5 pinkies in a row lol
They are very smart. Just when I bought he was gone I casted and got a hook up instantly and as I’m reeling in yep he grabs my fish again!
Was a constant battle. I could see him on my sounder. Just circling the boat. I decided to wait for around 15 minutes. Cast and get a pinkie on and out of no where he grabs my fish again lol in the end gave up. Still had a feed could have got a lot more. Got some red mullets as well.

What a clusterf*ck of a day. Stuffed my back giving one of the kids a wizzy-dizzy before breakfast & self medicated with out of date voltarin, panodol, nurofen and a couple of the dogs tablets that calm her down during thunderstorms....seemed to do the trick and managed to launch about 11.00am. Tried my never fail squid spot off black rock and got nothing. Drifted of St Kilda and got 1 flattie that was just legal so he went back. Tried off Williamstown for donuts and then shot down to Altona and managed a few more flatties but only 2 worth keeping.
Apart from searing back pain, it was magnificent out on the bay, but probably should have stayed on the couch with a heat pack.
