If you can time a tide change with dawn or dusk, Sorrento jetty has been producing for myself and the caddy extremely consistently.

You mean bream mate? I have caught them from Lagoon pier, kerferd, St Kilda. Patterson river is very old also. Docklands in the city as well :)
